Life Insurance - term, trauma and income

Suncorp offers Life, Trauma and Income Protection Insurance at competitive prices. Additional benefits may be included on all of these covers. Our Income Provide insurance provides a replacement income for high-risk occupations due to sickness or injury.
 

Cover to meet your needs

• Term Life Insurance pays a lump sum benefit if the Insured Person dies or is diagnosed with a Terminal Illness which will most likely result in death within 12 months of being diagnosed. Additional optional Benefits may also be included.
• Trauma Insurance provides for the payment of a lump sum Benefit if the Insured Person suffers and is diagnosed a specified disease or medical condition, and satisfies the definition of that disease or medical condition. There are two levels of Trauma Insurance to choose from and additional optional Benefits may also be included.
• Income Protection provides for a replacement income of up to 75% of your Average Weekly Income if you are unable to work due to Sickness or Injury. There are two levels of Income Protection Insurance to choose from and additional optional Benefits may also be included.
• Income Provide delivers a replacement income of up to 75% of your Average Weekly Income if you are unable to work due to Sickness or Injury for a maximum period of one year.

Extended waiver of premium - extra cost (applies to Comprehensive Income Protection)
We waive the premiums for specified life insurance products offered by Suncorp, that you have in force at the time of claim, whilst you are receiving claim benefits under Comprehensive Income Protection.

Advancement benefit (applies to Comprehensive Trauma only)
Provides for a percentage of the sum insured to be advanced to you on diagnosis of certain critical conditions even though you may not yet qualify for payment of the full sum insured.

Guaranteed agreed value - extra cost (applies to Comprehensive Income Protection only)
We will pay a set amount as your weekly benefit in the event you become totally disabled. We will also guarantee increases to your benefit by way of indexation. There will be no requirement to prove income at the time of claim.

Future insurability - extra cost (applies to Term Life and Trauma)
Allows an increase in the insured benefit with no evidence of health. The increases may be effected on the occurrence of selected Personal and Business events.
